Penguin Dive – Original Art and Fine Art Prints SOLD

A surreal oil on canvas painting of A darkly moody teal background and glass create a frame for the jaunty penguin marching across the ice, while its companion swims in the depths, contrasting with the vibrant slice of lemon, glowing against the dark.

Oil on canvas   75 cm x 60 cm   Sold

These African Penguins (also known as Jackass Penguins – presumably because of the braying noise they make) live on the South Western coast of Namibia and South Africa. They are delightful to watch, with their swift change from clumsy beach walkers, to graceful acrobats, masters of the sea.

This is the very first painting I made in the “Who would like some more ice? ” series. In this series, I want to prompt a smile, and a reminder to choose wisely how we live, because those choices affect every living being on our beautiful planet.
