Zebra are my favorite animals to paint. Wild horses with stripes – what is not to love?

I like painting zebras by water, and the reflections provide an interesting challenge.

I wanted to paint them with sunset colours, warm background and cool water.

After I’ve been working on a zebra painting for a while, when I close my eyes, I still see stripes…
